NZTS Board Special General Meeting

The NZTS, a volunteer society was incorporated in 2018. As part of the requirements of the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 it is necessary for the NZTS to update their constitution to comply with the act and to re-register as a society. These two items require the support of our members, and a Special General Meeting will be held to enable members to confirm their support (or otherwise). In line with clauses 12.2, 12.3, 12.4 and 12.5 of the NZTS Rules of Incorporation, a Special General

Meeting will be held to record by resolution the following two items:

1. Support the decision to re-register the society

2. Accept the revised constitution which complies with the requirements of the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 (Details of changes to be presented at the meeting)

The meeting is open to all current paid members of the NZTS who are able to vote on the two items. A quorum of 15 paid members is required to pass a vote, and 75% of voting members must support the motion for it to pass.

The Special General meeting will be held on the 17th March before the presentation by Ross Dimmock from Normet.

The details of the meeting are:
