In the last 10 years (to 2024) we have delivered 29 tunnelling projects, 15 outfalls and seven TBM marine recoveries in the marine and underground sectors.

Sansom was established in 1975 and is a specialist company involved in problem-solving and maintenance of tunnels, buildings, bridges, and structures. We specialise in structural remediation, waterproofing and tanking membrane systems, seismic strengthening and concrete defect repairs and maintenance.

We are often involved from the early design phase, advising on materials and methods. Our multiple disciplines—from concrete repairs to waterproofing and seismic joints—allow us to address the various challenges that arise in tunnel construction and maintenance. In addition to fulfilling tunnel maintenance contracts, we also carry out remedial work and are involved in tunnel alterations.
