Tunnel Waterproofing Presentation

Join us for the first NZTS technical talk to kick start this year’s calendar of events and technical talks. Our first presentation is from Katerina Howard (T+T), Elton Sturmfels (Sansom), and Wataru Okada (WSP), with a joint discussion on tunnel waterproofing. March 12, 2025.

Using the recently tested CRL project as a case study, the presentation will highlight the design specifications, monitoring, QA
requirements, various membrane systems utilised, and key lessons learned. (Thanks to the Link Alliance for their support and willingness to share their learnings).

The session will provide unique insights from different perspectives: the supplier, designer, onsite reviews and explore considerations for future tunnelling projects.

The event will provide refreshments, networking opportunities, CPD hours and update from the NZTS on the calendar year.
